Now that the weather is heating up and the days are a little longer, I’ve been on the lookout for good warm weather albums to freshen up my music library. A friend recommended this album by Beach House and I haven’t been able to make a playlist since that doesn’t include at least one of the songs. The album is a bit of 80′s synth mixed with hauntingly beautiful melodies and good old fashioned song writing. Are there any albums that you’ve recently added to your sunny weather mix?

Beach House is fantastic. She and Him is a must for this summer. Best Coast is also very sunny. Twin Sister is addictingly fun too. Enjoy!
