In my book, a holiday season must is taking the ferry from Jack London Square in Oakland to the Ferry Building in San Francisco and back. The entire experience is beautiful- there is nothing like watching the city’s skyline illuminate with holiday lights as the ferry pulls away. Go ahead and grab your scarf, order a hot chocolate at the Ferry’s bar, and head to the top deck of the Blue & Gold Fleet – I promise you the breathtaking scenery will outweigh the chilly air.
