Despite a busy schedule of family and lazing about over the Christmas holidays, I finally found some time to head up to check out Swanson Vineyards. It’s just as you’d imagine from Alexis Swanson and her chic blog… The Salon is beautiful, modeled after 18th century Parisian salons, but with great modern touches like vibrant red walls and mixed pieces of grand furniture. Afterward, my guy and I wandered next door to the Sip Shoppe- which is charmingly decorated with red and white circus stripes (um, LOVE that!). Feeling especially cheery-and a little buzzed!- we headed over to a few more wineries before an early dinner at Bouchon. (The Frisée aux Lardons et Oeuf Poché drove me crazy- yum!)
