I love exploring Oakland (there is always a wealth of great stores popping up!) and this weekend I was lucky enough to tag along with my friend Angela (who writes for Casa Sugar and is a former Ruby Presser!) as she met up with the gals behind Crimson Horticulture Rarities. Tucked in a little alley in Oakland’s trendy Temescal neighborhood, this gorgeous little shop is an absolute gem! Terrariums, taxidermy and intoxicating fragrances; I think I’ve found my new go-to gift shop.

Isn’t it so cute? I popped by when I was interviewing Ali Golden and last month for their first friday party. Makes me want to get a terrarium…at least it’s harder to kill succulents?
Looks amazing! I’m also a huge fan of Casa Sugar. Didn’t realize she was a former Ruby Presser!
Kristen: LOL!I could probably kill a cactus so I totally feel you. But I really want to add some plants to my house!! How cool you interviewed Ali! First Friday party with me sometime? : )
Patrice! Yes, love Casa Sugar! Angela was a publicist here! Are you in the bay area?
