this baby digital Leica? So tiny- only 3 inches across!
{available at Vivre}
I know that when I think of Fornasetti, I picture the iconic surreal face plates, pillows and other decorative items…
{wallpaper with the iconic faces at Rose and Radish}
{and reversible pillows at My Own Space}
I’ll sheepishly admit that I had no idea of the range of his work- nor much about the man behind the iconic design, Piero Fornasetti, who was a painter, sculptor, interior designer and creator/designer of over 11,000 items.
Some vintage Fornasetti pieces for sale…
{I may have to order this poster!}
{red/gold “army” tray}
{metal waste basket}
{chic umbrella stand}
I just came across this video on Vain and Vapid, and it is just too funny NOT to share!
Love these summery ikats from designer Madeline Weinrib…
and her runners…
and area rugs…
but most of all, her one of a kind furnishings…
I am such a fan of Polaroid shots, and this one from My Polaroid Blog is just sublime.

I’m afraid I’m becoming one… My husband has been calling me on my blog-addiction lately, and as they say, the first step is recognizing that you have a problem. Since I have a more-than-full-time-job, I end up blogging late into the night or on the weekends when I suppose I really should be relaxing.
That being said, from here on out, I am going to limit (or try to anyway) to only post on weekdays. (Same goes for the rest of the Ruby Press team…) Fingers crossed that I can do it! It’s so hard to stay away… I know you fellow bloggers know what I mean!

Everyone has been awaiting this day…at least I know everyone here at Ruby Press has. Plover’s full spring collection is now available for sale in stores and through their website. Hooray!
