I am in love with vintage menu cards…I have three that I framed in my dining room. I might have to add this one to my collection.

I came across these porcelain beauties- homewares, jewelry, etc- on Little Doodles (super sweet blog)…they are from Me Me Me (no, not me- from British designer Jade Gallup!) and I just love her work! A few favorites:
Some great fashion sites (print mags, online mags and blogs all jumbled together)…

My husband and I are moving back to Oakland this summer, which for those of you not familiar with the Bay Area, is just across the Bay Bridge from San Francisco. (We moved from San Francisco in 2003 because I just couldn’t take one more cold, foggy summer.)
I have a real love for Oakland, and I’ve been so happy to see it getting more attention- with the up-and-coming neighborhood of “Old Oakland” and that article in the NY Times a few weeks ago about Oakland being the ‘Brooklyn’ of San Francisco- and vice versa.
I’m especially fond of the old theatres- the Paramount, which is a shrine to Art Deco and The Fox Theatre, which will be done with it’s renovation later this year. The Paramount offers a tour once a month, and I highly recommend it if you’re into architecture. I’m dying to check out the Fox when it’s complete…

Downtown Oakland is really pretty cool if you’re obsessed with old buildings like I am. Some of my favorites:

Our client iomoi has been bestowed with the covetable “item of the week” title on Style.com this week! We are all obsessed with their trays here at Ruby Press…

What chic finds from Williams Sonoma Home. I adore their Palo Alto store. It makes me happy that summer is coming!
This feels like the year (or two) of the Edlerflower…It seems like it all started (for me, anyway) at Bourbon and Branch with their Elderflower Cocktail, and then at Miette, where I found the bottled Elderflower Presse, imported from England. Now it seems to be everywhere! (Not that I’m complaining…)

I just found a beautiful French (or is it Australian?) blog called Là…(came across it while loitering around this blog). This ballerina style children’s dress (shown two ways) makes me want to find a way to squeeze myself into it. It’s from a lovely company in Brooklyn called Pip Squeak Chapeau.
