Did you ever notice, on the cover of Glamour magazines, that it says “Incorporating Mademoiselle” underneath “Glamour”? Clearly it’s referring to the closed Conde Nast title (that I worked at for five years), but before that it used to say “Incorporating Charm”. I never knew what that meant before- I’d never seen a Charm magazine.
With a little research I found that it was a Conde Nast women’s magazine from the 40’s and 50’s targeted to working women! Love that!
