Starry nights

When I lived in NYC, Pearl River was a go-to source for so many things. Chinese slippers of all sorts, exotic candies (the grape gummies were my favorite!), Chinese cosmetics and skincare products with packaging that looked like it came from 1940, and about a million other treats. (And all inexpensive!)

Here in California, the weather has been warm and sunny lately…which turns my mind to outdoor entertaining. I love these star-shaped paper lanterns… Imagine a tree filled with them!

The paper stars are very pretty. We actully put those in our windows during Christmas here in Sweden… so unfortunately I “can’t” have them up all year around…
