Michael Kors Resort

How terribly chic. What a glam vacation you could take in these clothes…

Portable sweets!

The Good Humor van was one of my favorite things about summer growing up. I may be a good bit older now, but I’d chase Hearts Challenger down the street any day… This sweet pink ice cream truck operates in LA, NYC, and Miami and can be rented for events. (Love that!)

You won’t have to chase down the “Dessert Truck” – you can find it parked at 8th and University in New York. I’ll certainly swing by on my next trip to the city- they serve up the most scrumptious looking desserts….

Caramelized bananas with waffles. Yum!

Meet your new uncle…

I haven’t dedicated an entire post to one blogger, and don’t know if I’ll ever do this again, but I just want to introduce the few of you who don’t already know Uncle Beefy… His real name may be Bradford, but his blogging alter ego “Uncle Beefy” always makes me smile, so I have to call him by that.

His blog, The Bedlam of Beefy, is personal, stylish, warm, and always witty. This may sound a bit sappy, and even though I don’t know the sound of his voice, or what he looks like, he’s one of the wonderful fellow bloggers that I’ve come to know as a real friend. (And his comments on our blog often cause me to laugh out loud!) May this serve as your formal introduction.

Some of my favorite posts…

Rosemary’s Baby

I had the apartment to myself last weekend, so I turned to Comcast’s “On Demand” section hoping to find a good classic movie to get into for the night. I was thrilled to see that Rosemary’s Baby was just added to the free movies section!

Such a chic film. Mia Farrow’s haircut, her precious 60’s silhouettes, and that stylish apartment with it’s white molding, sucked me right in. If you haven’t seen it yet, check to see if it’s in your free movie options…
