Girls Like Us

I’m almost finished reading Girls Like Us, which chronicles the lives of Joni Mitchell, Carly Simon, and Carole King. I just love Joni Mitchell and Carly Simon’s music from the early 70’s, and reading about their lives really gets me in the mood to pull those CDs out again! They never get old.

My favorite Joni album is by far Blue….

Hard to choose a favorite between Carly Simon’s self-titled debut album, No Secrets and Anticipation…

    Must get this book! I saw Joni in vancouver- her family in the audience sitting close to me- It seemed as though she was singing just for me- I tried to scoot closer to one of her family members so that when she looked at them I would fall into her line of vision- it worked! One of the coolest concerts ever! MUST get this book! Thanks for recommending!
