These cupcakes aren’t the edible kind, but they are still as sweet as can be! Accessory queens viv&ingrid have recently launched a new collection of gifts- “viv&ingrid bonbon” as it’s so aptly called- and one reader will win three cupcakes of their choice! That’s over $100 worth of goodness. Each lovely hand-lacquered cupcake comes inside a charming, handmade box from Addison Endpapers and a sweet little card inside with {or without} a pair of stud earrings. What you organization-freaks will love most though, is the fact that they are the perfect little catch-all for jewelry, paperclips, whatever.
To win this giveaway, just make a comment here and tell us #1, how you would use your cupcakes, and #2, which three colors you’d like. Vivian and Ingrid from viv&ingrid will pick the winner based on your creative answers. The winner will be announced Friday, July 31st.

Such fun!!! I would probably keep mine in the kitchen, but used to store my different salts. I’m constantly fiddling through my cupboard to get the box of Maldon…or the regular kosher salt…or my favorite black seat salt. This would be a super easy — and MUCH cuter — way to have them in arm’s reach. Though really, I could think of a million uses for these cuties. And I think I love the Cherry, Stawberry and Silver!
These are so adorable AND cupcake shaped! What’s not to love? I could think of a dozen things to stash in them! Candies, nuts, mints, bite-sized snack things, staples, tacks, stickers, paper clips, jewellery, cotton balls… whatever else needs containing! These cupcakes come in cherry, chocolate, gold, silver and strawberry colours which are really pretty but if I win, I would want them all in cherry! Not very creative? I think not, because it’s my fave colour and I want them all neatly in a row on my desk so I will always have cupcakes in view holding my tidbits – office stuff or snacks!
You know, they come in the prettiest boxes too and I think they’re worth keeping on display too. I can hide even more stuff in ‘em!
Ooh these are lovely! Simple yet elegant – and who doesn’t love a cupcake? I think if these pretties were mine I would display them in my kitchen on my countertop (all 3 in cherry red please!). My kitchen is white with shots of alice blue and cherry red – these would look just darling. What a perfect way to store on my antique silver serving tray – with tea bags and sugar. I love to have my girlfriends over for Sunday brunch and tea – this would be a great way to serve the treats!
xx
Cupcakes! Containers! Omg, who came up with this? I guess it was Vivian and Ingrid, lol. Good job. Being a culinary student, I would love to have these to store all the little knickknacks I will accrue in my time in school, and bring them to my upcoming baking and patisserie class. Perhaps I can even make real cupcakes that look like them and send you guys some!
If I did happen to win them, I would want all three to be cherry red so they stand out and look all prodigious!
I love these bonbon cupcakes! I also love Viv & Ingrid! If I won these bonbon cupcakes I would put all three on my nightstand by my bed. I would store my Viv & Ingrid earrings in one, I would store savings for more Viv & Ingrid earrings in the second one and I would store Jelly Belly’s in the third one for when I’m reading a book in bed and need a sweet treat! The colors I would want if I won are Cherry, Silver, and Strawberry! Keeping my fingers crossed! Thanks for the opportunity!
Kelly
oh my goodness!!! these are the absolute cutest little things ever!! (and such a cute shop). love the strawberry!
I would store them prettily on a kitchen shelf or counter, explaining to my little ones (and my hubby:) that “these are mommy’s special decorations that we do not touch…under any circumstance, because they are my very favorite” I would then go about hiding my very own treats….maybe even a mini cupcake, that always seem to disappear so fast….and only I would know where they were…
So adorable! I especially love the strawberry, cherry and silver! I would use one for sugar for my coffee, one for teabags and one for brown sugar because I love it on oatmeal!!
Thank you for this great giveaway!!
Holy cuteness, Batman!
If I had three of these, I would keep one for myself (the cherry red), and give one to each of my two daughters: Elena, 8 (the chocolate) and Rosa, 5 (the silver) because all three of us like to have little boxes for safekeeping our treasures (candy, charm bracelets, diary keys, sea shells, stickers, four leaf clovers…)
Thank you for this giveaway – someone is going to be very lucky!
i love cute things in general and these cupcakes are adorable! i would use my cupcakes to organize little things on my sewing table where i’m currently making my niece a cute doll with a cupcake print skirt!
if i were to win (and be the luckiest girl in the world) i would like one each of cherry, chocolate and strawberry cupcakes.
These are so adorable and chic! My first instinct would be to store things like delicate necklaces, earrings, and other girly items. The possibilities are endless – tea bags, bite-sized candies, extra buttons, change, you name it!
I love the cool blue shade and that greenish color that is just peeking out of the side of the image.
Lovely giveaway – thanks!
These are the most adorable containers I’ve ever seen.
#1 I would use these cupcakes as display at the craft fairs I go to and in between- I would keep two on my desk to hold whatever my obsession is that week- probably stamps, stickers, or scented erasers.
Most mornings I leave a love note because he has to wake up really early and I want to cheer him up, I’d use the third container to package this note.
#2, I love gold, chocolate & strawberry but i’d love any colors.
Great giveaway!
…happy little things…that’s how viv&ingrid describe these. and they are so very happy! everytime i look at them, i smile.
i would use them to give little love notes to my husband. leaving it in a place we walk by every day in our home, he could lift the lid and find a happy love note just for him. it would be our secret. and the “happy little thing” description would be so true.
my favorite is color is gold, but also like strawberry and chocolate. YUM!
These are adorable! I’d love to have them in my house. I love the cherry, strawberry and silver ones the best. I think I’d fill them up with my secret stashes of things that make me smile, so that whenever I had a tough day, I could open one up and turn my day around.
The silver one would be filled with lovely orphaned buttons that I collect from all over the place. I love the feeling of sticking your hand in a container full of buttons.
The strawberry one would have my collection of sea glass that I pick up on the shores of the lake we visit every summer. Whenever I opened it, I would think of the slow and sweet summers.
The cherry one would have Andes mints in them, because they’re my favorite and because my grandparents always kept a red container full of them at their house and I was obsessed with it. Now I could have my own! I think the shiny green wrappers would look just right inside the cupcake container.
Strawberry, Gold, and Red!
I’d use one on the nightstand for my wedding rings when I sleep.
One on a shelf for holding all of the sets of spare apartment keys of friends (so when they show up already stressed out from being locked out of their apartment, I won’t have to hunt!)
One by the front door, for putting extra change in.
These are adorable! Since there’s 3 I would keep one for myself, perfect catchall for things on my desk. The other two I would set aside for my littles (5 & 3). I think I would use them for rewards at the end of the week. They could each wake up and find theirs at the table with some small little trinket inside. It’s amazing how something simple like a bouncy ball or a few army guys will make your littles act like angels. Well kind of…they try.
I would choose strawberry for me and 2 cherries for the boys. They have to be the same after all.
These are so beautiful! I am such a foodie and have a collection of boxes and dishes so these would be beautiful additions!!! I also love sweets so these are perfect for me!
I would use the Strawberry one in the entrance of my apartment for my keys – I am always misplacing them and it would make me smile at the beginning and end of each day.
The Silver one I would use in my office for whatever I needed to use everyday (put my rings in when I’m working, my diamond loupe…) – whatever I used most often so everytime I opened the cupcake it would cheer me up throughout the day.
The Cherry one I would hide around my apartment with a note inside for my boyfriend as I usually leave him a note everyday. This would only remind him what a sweet tooth I have!
So yes, I would love Silver, Strawberry and Cherry.
: Greetings and Salutations :
Well I would use these beautiful cupcakes to inspire my six year old daughter to wake up for school. Make her bathroom into a bakery theme so she is delighted in the morning instead of a grumpy bear. Of course, we would sort her vintage barrettes, baubles and trinkets into the cupcakes. I would add some lace doilies to the room, some vintage hand-stitch towels, some awesome bakery menu inspired type posters and doodles on the mirror.
Since my daughter is already a tiny art director she would request: cherry, strawberry and silver (because that is her “vision”). And of course, she would want to keep the boxes because they are “so beautiful”.
wishing for a good morning- kraftykym in minnesota
what a generous giveaway! i would no doubt store little treats inside: swedish fish in the red one, lemon drops in the gold one and grapefruit sours in the strawberry one. i gotta have my sweets, but with them not actually being visible, it will help me not eat so much! ha
One cupcake for each of us (me, hub & son) to fill our daily vitamins/Rx doses in at meal time. Dessert on the table without the calories. And we all know cupcakes make the medicine go down better. LOL.
Would love Cherry, Strawberry & Chocolate. Thanks V&I & Ruby Press.
What positively, delightful darlings. And what a sweet & awesome offer!
The colors I’d choose would be: Chocolate, Gold & Strawberry!
I’m in the process of slowly opening a bakery, and have been keeping my eye out for pretty lovelies such as these, BUT if I were to win them, I don’t think displaying them in the bakery would be the choice I would go with (though it is certainly tempting!!)
Instead, I was thinking these would suit three special, little girls in my life. Not daughters – I don’t have babies… yet! But I do have three beautiful second cousins that volunteered themselves to be my “readymade” flower girls the night before my wedding back in February.
Here’s 2 of the 3 girls here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jeanneciasullo/3325128593/in/set-72157614619322035/
They traveled with their parents to St. Augustine, Florida from North Carolina for our wedding, and at our rehearsal dinner asked me if they could be my flower girls at our ceremony the next day. Completely dazed & overwhelmed from what was about to be, but so touched at how kind their offer was, I bent down to them and thanked them, but explained to them that I didn’t think we had any extra flowers for them to carry.
So fast forward to the next day at 4 o’clock, as I am walking down the aisle with my mom & dad, in my nervousness I look down to the grass, and what do I see? Buds and buds of beautiful white daisies they had gathered up from our rehearsal dinner the night before! They even separated the daisies from their stems so that when they threw them as we went down the aisle, the stems wouldn’t “stab us in the eyes” as they so sweetly put! They also picked many of the petals off so they would “float” around me as we left. Below, is myself and my husband walking down the aisle, the petals “floating” around us:

It was such an incredibly sweet moment and will be a memory I will remember forever. So, what I would love to do with these three cupcakes, should I be so lucky to win them, is send one to each girl, thanking them for the wonderful flowers girls that they were. They will be moving soon to Japan, as their father is in the military and it would be so rad to send them off with something they can hold dear to their hearts for years to come!
Sheesh – sorry for the ramble, But thanks for the chance Viv & Ingrid and Ruby Press!
XO
Marisa
Love them! So adorable. I would probobaly use mine to store some earnings or rings, or maybe some yummie candy. I love the silver, strawberry and chocolate.
Thanks V&I and Ruby Press
I’d leave mine by the door to put my keys in, as a reminder of how sweet it is to be home!
My favourites are the silver, strawberry and gold! :}
If I had the pleasure of winning, I would keep one for my desk at work – something cute to make me smile in the middle of all my paper work, another for my home so I could leave little love notes in it around the house for my adorable boyfriend, and give the last one to my friend & co-worker marisa who lives & breathes cupcakes (and who told me about this giveway through her blog sweetnflour.com). I would love gold & cherry cupcakes, and for marisa, a strawberry one
I am obsessed with cupcakes! I love this. One would be great but winning three is amazing. I would definitely put these three on my dresser. One for rings, one for bracelets, and one for earrings. Right now I’m using old cookie dividers from a cookie box, no joke. It’s sad but I need something to keep them together, plus I hate throwing away something that I can use to organize. I would love a strawberry, gold, and silver. Plus the boxes these little cupcakes come in are so cute I would probably save them and use them to organize something else!
I just got a great new job as a copywriter in a marketing department in Princeton. I have this great little office that I’m trying to decorate with items that reflect my personality so when my new colleagues come in to meet with me, they’d get an idea of what I’m all about. The cute cupcake container represents the “nurturing” aspect of my personality: I love to bake for friends and family, and hand out M&Ms — which I would keep tucked away beneath the frosting top of this happy little jar!
Oh, these are darling! I would probably put one at my desk at work for paper-clips, stickers, and sticky notes, one in my bedroom for jewelry and other knick-knacks, and one in the kitchen for sweets (like chocolate kisses and jelly beans). All the colors look fantastic, although I would prefer three bright ones, like yellow and red. This is such a sweet offer, thanks Ruby Press!
xoxo!
Helen
Cute as can be! I would set these
Up in my office, as a
Pretty, but functional way to
Catch
All the different
Knick knacks that tend to go
Everywhere, refusing to
Stay in one place
!!!!!
Coluors? Please, could I get chocolate, for sticky notes, silver for paper clips, and cherry red for a friend, because sharing cupcakes is what my mother taught me to do.
Kat
Everyone loves cupcakes! Their charm lies in their petite form and delicate decorations, therefore what better way to use these keepsake boxes than to store petite and delicate treasures? I have an eye for detail and am always on the look out for beautiful buttons, special charms, exotic beads and decorative bobby pins. I would use my cupcakes as mini treasure chests. Hats off to viv&ingrid, what a great idea
I would love these petite pastries in cherry, strawberry and silver.
Holy Cupcakes! These are adorable! I am in love with the Silver, Cherry and Chocolate! These dainty containers are much too sweet, no wonder you can’t eat them! I would keep one for myself and fill it with the lovely notes my boyfriend leaves around for me, its the perfect home for them. I would give one to my mother and the other to my sister because they would love them just as much as I do!
I love the cherry, chocolate and strawberry cupcakes! They are so precious while useful in many different ways. Personally, I might set them out aside a vase of flowers on a silver platter along with my white porcelain tea set – I would fill them with sugar cubes, little chocolate shavings, and nutmeg to be ground over coffee.
That would be a great way to start any day, or an excellent way to have a friend over for a tete a tete.
Oh they are just darling!
I would keep one (silver) by my bedside and I would use it to store my wedding rings over night (they deserve a super special bed) and I would use two (cherry) on my mantelpiece, one holding matches (it’s a fireplace underneath) and one with jewel coloured hard candy inside.
How cute are these!
I would definetly use one for my engagement ring! I take it off when I am cleaning or doing any other household chores (with the hopes of not ruining it)…but I have already misplaced (ok, according to my fiance LOST!) twice! Both times we have managed to find it, but I promised I wouldn’t take it off anymore. Bu thits would be the perfect solution to my cleaning days.
The 2nd I would put on my window mantle. I love the way the sun shines through and my neighbors might have something nice to admire on their walks.
The third I would put on my stacks of books I have accumulating by the couch. I have the worst sweet tooth and maybe, just maybe this may suffice with just a glance st these sweet things.
The peach, red, and blue are wonderful!
What a fab giveaway!
Hmmm, assuming my seven and four year old girls would not take complete possession of them for their little pink retro play kitchen, I would put strawberries, blackberry and apricot preserves in each one for Saturday morning breakfasts with biscuits. When they’re not being use a jam holders, I’d place dot them on our corner kitchen shelves and load them up with my secret stash of m+m’s.
They would also be fun in the center of a children’s table at Easter filled with pastel colored m+m’s.
The colors I like are chocolate and silver.
I would love to give these to my best friend, Erica as an engagement present. She is a baking queen, and I know that she would adore them. For the Fourth of July she made these amazing strawberry cupcakes with chocolate butter cream icing, so I like Strawberry and Chocolate colors. I don’t know what she would use them for, but I hope she puts them in her kitchen of her new condo that she will share with her soon-to-be husband, Brent. They make the greatest couple. Erica is an adorable Asian girl with a perfect pixie haircut and Brent has tattoo sleeves and towers over her. They are amazing!
I would love to win the Silver, Strawberry, and Gold Cupcake Keepsake Boxes. My husband and I recently bought a new house and we move in a few months. I am already planning how I will decorate all of the rooms, and these boxes would look so cute on my night stand to hold my wedding ring and my earrings. I love cupcakes so much, we even had them at our wedding last October. Red Velvet or Strawberry are my favorites!
Thanks for the fabulous giveaway!!!
These little cupcakes are tooo cute. I would probably put them on the dining table for everyone to see when we have desert. Or I might even send them to korea to my husband, He really loves cupcakes! They are soo cute. I love them, any color would be nice!
Wow. What a fun find!
I think for the time being I would use them in the bathroom for earrings, ring and cotton balls. And in the future I would give them to my daughter to use as she pleases.
I think the cherry, silver, and chocolate ones would be darling together!
I would place them around my house/studio and most likely put sweets in them for those moments where I just need a gummie bear and a smile.
I would just love the chocolate, cherry and sliver!
thanks!
This is amazing! I love these cupcakes more than the real ones!
I’d use them to hold two things:
1. An antique necklace from my grandmother that I can’t keep in my (overflowing) jewelry box because it’s too delicate!
2. My boyfriend’s house keys, which he always loses (and I lovingly/begrudgingly replace).
As for colors, I’d have to go strawberry, cherry, and silver.
I am pretty sure that I am exempt from winning but I thought that I would throw the old chapeau in the ring, as it were. While these little cupcakes aren’t large, I think that I could put them to good use.
My first choice would be red since that is the color of a dog’s eye in a photo. In it I would keep my youthful idealism which I always seem to lose at the least opportune time and which, sadly, would just fit in one of these little cupcakes.
The second one would be brown. Brown is the color of my true love’s hair. In it I will place apple pips. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout merit badge for poisons, and I am constantly scattering those little arsenic laced seeds hither and yon about my lab. They are tricky little devils to pick up off of the floor, so this would be particularly handy…
The third should be blue, I think. Blue makes me think of the Blue Angels, which makes me think of the little angel and devil on Daffy Duck’s shoulder, which makes me think of roadrunners which makes me think of the time that Melissa saw her first roadrunner and would not believe me when I told her what it was. Apparently she falsely assumed that they were either A: mythical/lived only in cartoons and/or B: they are blue, approximately the size of a malnourished emu and are extremely cunning. She also saw her first tumbleweed shortly thereafter. And no, I did not take her back in time to meet the cast and crew on the set of Bonanza. Oh, I would place my fledgling string collection in this one.
My best friend Hilarie LOVES cupcakes. She is obsessed with them. She just had her first baby, so most everything she buys or receives these days is for her beautiful daughter. I would give these to her in red, silver and gold to keep just for her, and to put in them whatever she pleases.
I recently moved to a new city with my boyfriend who is going to graduate school for architecture and is very very busy. So in the evenings I have busied myself with baking projects, and recently I have been on a quest for the perfect chocolate cupcake! I have tried several recipes already, but I think I have a ways to go. I have however found my favorite cream cheese frosting recipe, and decorating these little cups of joy and giving them to all the toiling architecture students when they’re working late late into the night (since my boyfriend and I can only eat so many!) is my favorite part! When they are decorated beautifully in addition to tasting delicious, I think these hard working architects with an eye for design (even cupcake design!) really appreciate these treats. I have been baking so much, that I think I might just start a cupcake business! If I had these cupcake boxes, I would keep different toppings in each – sprinkles, sugar decorations, mini m&ms, etc. My favorite colors are Cherry, Chocolate, and Gold.
Thanks for introducing me to these cuties!
These are super cute!! I would use them in my kitchen to keep little treats for my chihuahua, Cooper Friday. He loves getting a treat when I get home from work and it would be great to just grab one quickly instead of searching through the cupboard. I love cherry, cherry & cherry. But thinking about 3 different colors, I am drawn to cherry, chocolate and silver.
THOSE CUPCAKES ARE DARLING. I’D USE THEM TO ORGANIZE AND STORE MY CRAFT SUPPLIES
One of my favorite quotations of all time is, “We make a living by what we get but we make a life by what we give”-Winston Churchill.
Therefore, if I were lucky enough to win these cupcakes, I would pass them along to make someone else smile. I have the most amazing Grandmother whom I respect and love with all my heart. She did so much for me as a child and now that I am an adult, I always am looking for ways to give back to her. My Grandmother adores little pretty things so she already has unlimited items that would fit quite nicely in these adorable cupcakes. I am sure she would not be picky about what colors they came in if she were lucky enough to receive them. I think she would be so excited to get these because I would surprise her with them and give them to her on a regular day..not a holiday.
Thank you for hosting this contest and I hope whoever wins will appreciate these little treasures as much as I know my Grandmother would!
I plan on using these adorable cupcakes to ask my friends to be a part of my bridal party. Inside, I’ll put a scrapbook embellishment of a bridal gown and they’ll receive this along with a memory book that I made each of them asking to take part of the special day! I’d ask for three silver cupcakes.
Thank you for this wonderful giveaway!
i love cupcacks i want to win free ones
can i win if i do ill give you a big cupcake
1st of all I will start off by saying, I have a 7 year old grandaughter that lives with me & I LOVE very much! Right now she is trying to figure out why her grandmother cannot give her an immediate answer on going into the cupcake buisness with her right away. She really does have good buisness sense for a little girl discovered while playing ds nentindo games with her and she actually makes a pretty GOOD cupcake. One of her favorite recipes consist of devils food batter or dark dutch chocolate batter stuffed generously with cream cheese and sprinkled lightly with powdered sugar. She likes to use gold or silver metalic cups when possible.Quite beautiful and tasty. The cupcake buisness is big in Austin right now but costly to start up.I would like to at least get these cupcakes for her trinkets ect. and her inspiration. How cute it would be and inspire her passion for cupcakes. Thanks so much for this opportunity and such a darling design. She would be so surprised, she has not seen them. I will try and keep this delicious secret.Oh and just for grins. Her name pick for her buisness is Fallon,s Cupcakery.
Hi,this is Pamala from Austin again sending in additional comment due to I forgot to add colors.Silver, strawberry and chocolate seems to be a nice variety. Thanks again for the opportunity to surprise my little grandaughter,Fallon Elizabeth. She will be so excited if we win. Maybe she will give me some more time to invest in her cupcakery in Austin. At least time for her to graduate. 7 seems to be an early age to be so interprising. Well the superbowl just ended and I will close so to put her to bed. Her birthday is the 27th of February and she is making her self silly trying to design her cupcakes for her birthday .She will be on a campout with her fellow girlscouts so it’s making her crazy trying to figure something clever after selling all those girlscout cookies.
