I think it’s the little girl in me, but I always love seeing photos from the famous Bal Crillon des Debutantes in Paris. This year’s ball just happened this past Saturday and the dresses were extraordinary. Archival Lanvin, Chanel Couture, Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana…you get the idea.

i looked just like them at my cotillion!
i love the floral and stripe gowns!
I have to admit I find this stuff fascinating as well. The gowns are always so gorgeous and the families intriguing. I always buy the Teen Vogue issue that covers the ball…a little guilty pleasure I haven’t managed to outgrow!

Gorgeous gowns!
I always love looking at the photographs from the Crillon. I wonder if you’ve seen Jane’s blog (she’s the one in the black and white striped Chanel in the front row.)
The daughter of a former model, she’s quite the blogger/fashionista. Both posted fabulous behind-the-scenes pics from the ball & her fitting at Chanel. If only my life was so fabulous
