New Orleans for New Years

I’m so excited to be going on my first trip to New Orleans!  We’re staying in the French Quarter at the Hotel Monteleone.   I would love to hear recommendations of your favorite places to shop, eat and see!

I used to live there!! I LOVE Dante’s Kitchen! I prefer it over Jacques-imo’s. But, they are both MUST stops!!

I will be in New Orleans too!

Go to the Carousel bar at the Monteleone- all time favorite:)

Eat a fried oyster po boy at Mothers, grab a Hurricane at Pat O’s and whatever you do, don’t eat a Lucky Dog off of the street cart.

    Have fun!

February trip will be our fourth recent visit to New Orleans. We stayed at Montelone two years ago. Great location; great hotel. Don’t miss the Audubon Zoo, the market, Cafe Dumonde, a ride on a streetcar, Acme Oyster House, and Mothers for a great breakfast. Happy holidays.
