There are no words to describe the pure joy photobooths bring me {and no doubt many of you, as well!} In true Amelie fashion, my up-for-anything boyfriend and I have vowed to always stop if we see one, no matter what! Photobooth by Babette Hines chronicles the cultural icon’s history, and even better, is packed with over 700 shots of spontaneous, romantic, evocative, and utterly gorgeous photos collected from friends and years of flea marketing. You can also visit Hines’ Los Angeles gallery of collected photographs–what a treat! For more info, check out thefoundphoto.

Its so nostalgic! I have some vintage photobooth strips from a flea market of some sailors and their girlfriends, they all looked so stylish and exuberant. Great hairstyles & big smiles!
I loooooove vintage photobooth photos!! I have some amazing ones I’ve bought over the years.
this book has been on my amazon wish list for quite some time
I bought this book a long time ago…maybe 10 years ago? So adorable and fascinating. Take note of the ones you stare at the longest!
