Elite Leather

We’re thrilled to announce our newest client Elite Leather, a stylish line of custom made furniture that everyone here at Ruby Press is coveting!  It’s a family run business {they just surpassed the 50 year milestone!} and each piece on their line is beautifully made with incredible attention to detail.  {And their custom furniture is typically ready in 2 to 4 weeks- how’s that for instant gratification?}  And don’t let the name fool you- sure, they offer over 200 leather options, but they also offer hundreds of fabric options as well {even great organic options!}.

Some of our favorite designers have created lines for Elite Leather- Nathan Turner, Lulu de Kwiatkowski, and now Angela Adams.  Don’t you just love??

Gimme Shelter

Have you checked out the blog Shelter yet? It’s incredibly chic and packed with design inspiration! The lovely Paloma introduced me to the blog and provided a link for a peek into Julie’s home {Julie is the woman behind the interior design firm and blog, Shelter}. Care to take a tour?

Nesting Newbies

I just discovered a fantastic new digital shelter magazine and had to share. It’s called Nesting Newbies and is geared towards people “new to nesting and have no clue when it comes to cooking, entertaining, and decorating”–a great resource for those of us who have not quite mastered our way around the kitchen {I’m SO guilty!}. The affordable ideas for creative tabletops, cooking videos available on the website, and delicious food photography may just be the ticket to helping me overcome my fear of the kitchen!

Nonpareil Magazine

While I’m not engaged {yet} I’m kind of obsessed with wedding blogs and magazines especially when I find something beautiful and practical!  Nonpareil, is a new online magazine featuring inspirational ideas for brides as well as do it yourself tutorials.  My favorite part of the first issue, Beautiful on a Budget, is the tutorial on “ Crafting the Perfect Accessory.”   I can’t stop looking at the images of the Veiled Floral Headband and the Layered Ruffle Fascinator-gorgeous!  There’s even a resource page so you’ll know where to buy all the materials needed for each project!

Pal + Smith

Melissa and Marc Palazzo of Pal + Smith have a 1950’s ranch home that epitomizes the California cool style I’m constantly chasing after. Everything feels so fresh-from the mismatch dining room chairs to the oversize aqua lamps and that beast of a bed frame-yet it’s completely livable (at least I think!). See the rest of the house here. Total genius.

Plucky Pioneers

Love The Neo Trad’s Plucky Pioneers series- “interviews with girls on the design frontier”.  Check out The Neo Trad’s {a.k.a. Kate} 2nd profile which just went up today- it’s one of our stellar clients!

My Little Green Notebook

Have you checked out this blog yet? It’s another one of my favorite daily reads that Catherine introduced me to. My Little Green Notebook is filled with genius DIY projects and home decor inspiration, like this silver leaf dresser-which apparently is a cinch to re-create!
