I worked with J.Mendel when I was an editor, and back then they were strictly furriers. I’m so happy they branched out into apparel- this season’s evening wear is breathtaking. Don’t you agree?

Up until two weekends ago, I had no clue Glass Candy existed as a band, and not just as some cutesy decorative piece for say, a coffee table.
After hearing them perform live at an opening party in Las Vegas for MAGIC - they were so so so good – I couldn’t help but purchase their entire album on iTunes.
Hailing from Portland, Glass Candy’s sound is a blend of electro-pop with disco and rock. Lead singer Ida No {who is as cute as a button} and guitarist/ synthesist Johnny Jewel compose the eccentric group. Listen to one of their songs here.
