Sam and I have been doing some genealogy research and Sam has a great great aunt who was named Ruby Presse!! Can you even believe it? What are the odds of me naming the company Ruby Press almost ten years ago, and then finding out Sam had a relative by the same name? Honestly, we’re kind of freaking out about it…so bizarre! We even have a photo of her, when she was a little girl, but the photo isn’t very scan-able. She looks a lot like this-

I’m ready for a vacation and the recently-opened Viceroy Anguilla looks like the perfect spot. Designed by Kelly Wearstler, it’s a departure from her normally color-saturated rooms but still looks like a Wearstler space.

Swoon designer, Amy Wong Micucci, chose a winner for the bridesmaid dress give away contest! Find out which lucky bride-to-be won three custom silk dresses here.

{Thanks for the intro, Mamaista!}
Oscar de la Renta has always been at the top of my list of the most brilliant designers, so you can imagine my delight when I discovered the designer would be collaborating with Lee Jofa on a line of summer fabrics… Exquisite!
I’m kind of crazy about this DIY beaded chandelier project. Who knew you mardi gras beads could be so chic?

Our very first Ruby Press employee {almost ten years ago!!} was a dear girl named Sylvia…stylish, sweet, and smart, I just adore her. She has a charming blog called Silver Lining and she asked me to do a guest post for her, which just went up this morning…
Thanks so much for the invite Syl- it means a lot! xx
