I love the irreverence of the DYI {avec une Sharpie!} “Chanel” tee! Merci Garance Dore!

Remember the Chanel film I wrote about in this post last week? {The black and white film about Mlle Chanel that Karl Lagerfeld created and showed before his Pre-Fall 2009 collection in Paris?} Well, here it is!

Karl Lagerfeld showed an luxurious Russian-inspired Pre-Fall 09 collection for Chanel this week in Paris. The runway show was in a dilapidated old theatre {gorgeous, I’m sure} and followed a 10-minute black and white film that the Kaiser created about Coco Chanel’s early years. {Wouldn’t you love to see that?}
