If you’ve read my bio {see below}, you’ll know I terribly miss Jane Mayle’s namesake collection. But the stunning pieces comprising the spring collection of Jeffrey Monteiro just might be worthy substitutes. A former design director at Mayle, Monteiro’s charming, detail-ridden dresses and tops evoke a disheveled femininity quite reminiscent of my beloved Mayle pieces. I can’t wait to buy one of these little gems for spring!
H&M is launching a Garden Collection next month with clothes made from sustainable materials (think recycled PET bottles, fabric remnants, and organic cottons/linens). Not only is the concept cool, but the clothes are beautiful-lots of flowery, hippie chic dresses and adorable shorts {like the ruffled pair below}! Check out the full collection here.
I’m loving these popsicle-hued cocktail dresses from Lanvin’sspring 2010 collection. The high, messy buns and touches of cherry red and nude are just perfection-no jewelry needed.
