Angela and I are heading off to our semi-annual NY trip this weekend- we’ll be meeting with national magazine editors to show them our clients’ lines over the span of three days. Of course we’re staying at the incomparable City Club Hotel- our home away from home! After that trip, I’ll be heading to the High Point furniture trade show in North Carolina- my first time and I’m really excited to go with our client Elite Leather! We’re only a month away from the Ruby Press semiannual NY trip- how the time flies! (We go to NY every April and October to show our clients’ lines to the national media- you can read more about it here.)
We’ve been staying at City Club Hotel now for the past two years…it’s just perfection. Super chic (designed by Jeffrey Bilhuber), incredibly convenient for editors (right in between all their offices), and impeccable service. We stay in the Grand Duplex Suite, which is two levels, with gorgeous original plaster ceilings. (The hotel was formerly a political ‘city club’ established in 1904.)
